On Bank Holiday Monday 8 May 23, a large number of ladies set off by bus from Co Armagh Golf Club for Lady Captain Lily’s Away Day to Edenmore. With thunder and lightning forecast in the afternoon, you could have been forgiven for pulling out, however, as the day developed so too did the sun. The dark clouds disappeared leaving a beautiful blue sky and perfect golfing conditions, with layers being peeled off by many at the clubhouse before tackling the back 9.
The Fox Cup and Culmore Shield stroke competitions took place at Co Armagh Golf Club on Thursday 11 May. It was the fourth consecutive weekly stroke-play competition and the first qualifying competition of the year and the continuing difficulty of the course was once again reflected in the results.
Forty-nine ladies competed in the Sinton Cup qualifier stroke competition on 4 May at Co Armagh Golf Club. Despite the competition being played in non-qualifying conditions, with the exception of the winning score, the results reflected the difficulty of the conditions.
The Millennium Bowl and McCall Shield Stroke Competitions were held at Co Armagh Golf Club on Thursday 27 April 2023. The competitions were very kindly sponsored by Anthony Farrell, The Money Shop.

Despite it being a lovely spring day, playing conditions were incredibly tough for the 55 ladies who played in the first Medal competition of the year at County Armagh Golf Club on Thursday 20 April 2023, evidenced by the results.
Thirty-five ladies competed in the Peggy Nelson Qualifying Stableford held at Co Armagh Golf Club on Thursday 13 April 2023, which was sponsored by BPERFECT Cosmetics.
Forty-four ladies competed in the annual Daisy Ferguson Greensomes qualifier competition at Co Armagh Golf Club on Thursday 6 April 2023.
