Friday 5th December 2025 saw a packed clubhouse at the annual Ladies Christmas Dinner and Awards Evening at County Armagh Golf Club.
Lady Captain Frances congratulated Paula Mc Crory who had 6th place in the Silver Medal category and Eileen Fitzsimons who had 3rd place in the Bronze category at Headford, Co. Meath.
A dual presentation was held on Thursday evening which was also the last official 18 and 9 hole Ladies Branch competitions of the year.
The September Medal stroke competition took place at County Armagh Golf Club on Thursday 18th September, kindly sponsored by Martin Traynor Motors. Lady Captain Frances Davidson welcomed everyone along and expressed sincere thanks to Martin Traynor Motors for his generous sponsorship and to all those who sponsored competitions throughout the year.
On Thursday 4th September the annual Armaghdale Open stroke competition was held. The fixture was moved this year to the Thursday due to our ladies AIG Junior Cup team, captained by Past Captain Ellen Brady competing in the AIG All Ireland Finals Women’s Junior competition weekend at Tandragee. Lady Captain on behalf of all members wished them every success in the competition as they play Tipperary in the quarter finals.
Lady Captain Frances welcomed everyone to prize giving and announced the fantastic news that had happened during the week for the Ladies branch of CAGC. She congratulated the Challenge Cup team on beating Temple in the Ulster Final in Helen’s Bay on Tuesday.

Thursday 14th August saw the Ladies Open 3-ball Scramble at County Armagh Golf Club, sponsored by The Parkland Restaurant.
The Summer Open stroke competition took place at County Armagh Golf Club on Thursday 7th August, very generously sponsored by Aramark Properties.
Congratulations to our Lady Captain Frances who won the 9 hole competition on the visiting Lady Captain’s day at Tandragee Golf Club and Kathleen Oliver who won the Visitor’s Prize on Lady Captain’s Day at Tandragee Golf Club.
