Sixty ladies played in the Ian Donaldson Stableford competition and despite the unfavourable weather on the last day of June there were some wonderful scores.
Eileen Fitzsimmons continued her excellent form to return a card with 45 points closely followed by her good friend Bernie Rice on 44 points. In third place came Hilary Johnston on 38 points.

Access can only be gained from the Police station side of the Newry Road.

On Saturday 25th June the Junior Girls' played their competitions for the Senior and Junior Johnston Cups.
These cups were presented to the Junior Girls' in 2001 by Hilary and Alan Johnston and family and they have sponsored the competition prizes since then.

June 18 th 2016 was certainly a day to treasure for the Honorary Treasurer of the Ladies Branch of County Armagh Golf Club Jacqueline Kelly who was the overall winner on Lady Captain's Day.
There was a great turn-out on the day and everyone enjoyed the lovely condition of the course and the beautiful weather as they competed for one of the fabulous paintings Lady Captain Una had commissioned from her very talented artist niece Ms Orla Cullinane.
