AN HISTORIC CLUB WITH A MAGNIFICENT GEORGIAN PARKLAND SETTING SINCE 1893

The Enagh Group was the sponsor for the 3-ball team event held at Co Armagh on Thursday 5 August, the first of the ladies' competitions held during the Club's annual Open Week.

Lady Captain, Mrs Moya Brady extended a special welcome to new sponsor Conor Davidson, The Enagh Group and thanked him for the generous sponsorship.

Twenty-four teams took part in the competition including teams from Warrenpoint, Fintona, Loughgall, Portadown and Aughnacloy.

1 st – Cath Murray, Mary Knott and Ita Devenney 87 pts

2 nd – Hilary Johnston, Jill McKenna and Aoife Lennon 85 pts

3 rd – Julie McCartan, Michelle Kinane and Lily McMullan 84 pts

4 th – Karen Edgar, Siobhan Donnelly and Lynne Brown 83 pts

5 th – Moya Brady, Teresa Corrigan and Paula McCrory 83 pts

Hilary Johnston carded an eagle 3 at the 16 th during her round.

In addition to prize-giving for the Ladies Open 3-Ball Team event there was also prize-giving for the open competition for the Junior Girls. Lauren McKeown won the 18 hole competition with 39 points and Anna Carson won the 9 hole competition.
