AN HISTORIC CLUB WITH A MAGNIFICENT GEORGIAN PARKLAND SETTING SINCE 1893

Over 50 ladies took to the fairways of County Armagh Golf Course in pursuit of the prestigious prize on offer. The competition was the Mary Peters Trust which is very generously sponsored by the local golf professional Alan Rankin. The winner goes forward to play in Massareen Golf Club with the lady captain later in the summer.

The best score of the day was registered by Jacqueline Kelly with 38 stableford points. Teresa McVeigh was runner up with 37pts and Brigid McEnaney was 3rd two points behind the winner.

The lady captain Hillary Johnston won the front 9 with 19 pts beating Eilish Grimes and Lynne Browne on the count back while Moya Brady also with 19 pts picked up the back 9 prize. Eilish Grimes was pipped at the post by Carmel Cassidy for the par lady prize with 32 pts.
