AN HISTORIC CLUB WITH A MAGNIFICENT GEORGIAN PARKLAND SETTING SINCE 1893

Both the weather and conditions were favourable for the ladies playing in the first Medal competition of the year at County Armagh Golf Club on Thursday 18 April 2019. The competition was once again very generously sponsored by The Dressing Room, Armagh.

Welcoming everyone to prize giving, Lady Captain, Mrs Moya Brady extended thanks to The Dressing Room for the continued support.

The results were:

1 st – Emma Garrigan nett 69

2 nd – Paula McCrory nett 70

3 rd – Patricia Hughes nett 70

The gross prize was won by Ellen Brady with gross 78.

The category winners were:

Cat A – Teresa McVeigh nett 74

Cat B – Maggie McKee nett 72

Cat C – Helen McLaughlin nett 74

Cat D – Michelle Kinane nett 78

Breda Teahan won the front 9 with nett 29 and Lynne Brown the back 9 with nett 35.

Anne Murphy won the 9 hole competition with 18 pts, beating Barbara Hamilton with 17 pts into second place.

The weekly Time for Nine competition was won by Karen Edgar with 18 pts.

There were birdies at the 15 th for Colette McSorley and at the 17 th for Paula McCrory and twos for Jacqueline Kelly at the 7 th and Karen Edgar at the 11 th .

Emma Garrigan's handicap was cut from 20 to 19.
