AN HISTORIC CLUB WITH A MAGNIFICENT GEORGIAN PARKLAND SETTING SINCE 1893

A good turnout of ladies competed for the Daisy Ferguson greensomes at a very cold windy and wet County Armagh golf course on Thursday last. This competition is generously sponsored by Wright's Interiors and restaurant Russell St Armagh.

The best combination on the day was Fionnuala Quinn and Nichola Spence who returned a good score of 38 stableford points and edged Lynn Brown and Siobhan Donnelly into second place also returning 38 points with a better back 9. Just a point adrift in 3 rd was Rene Calvert and Mary Knott. Even though the weather was wintry the greens were in pristine condition.

The lady captain Hilary Johnston welcomed a large turnout of ladies in the clubhouse to the presentation of prizes. She thanked the sponsors for their continued support of the ladies branch. Preparations are in full swing now for lady captains which is on 15 th June
