After liaison with John White and consultation with Golf Ireland we secured a golf rules night on Wednesday 10th April, when the rules roadshow led by Golf Ireland representative, Jeff Forde, came to our club.
There was a wide cross section of our golfing members represented in the large attendance, from seasoned golfers to those just just starting out on their golfing journey.
The Golf Rules Night was expertly delivered and catered to both men and women,and beginners and experienced golfers alike.
It offered a comprehensive overview of the rules and regulations that govern our beloved sport, and it is hope that those present:
- Gained a deeper understanding of the rules of golf, including recent updates and changes.
- Learned how to apply these rules in various situations encountered on the course.
The enthusiastic attendees engaged in discussions around particular scenarios, with a number of them linked to our own course and there was clarification regarding any questions or uncertainties that members had regarding specific rules or situations.
