WHILE the middle-aged and senior members of County Armagh Golf Club indulged in their respective cup events, James Johnston was putting on a show for the young'uns in the Sunday Club stableford.
Playing off a handicap of five, the local bakery worker returned a formidable 41 points to win the competition open to those below the half-century age.

PEARSE McBride was the popular winner of County Armagh Golf Club's Mayne Cup.

NOEL Murtagh was a surprised but delighted winner of the County Armagh Golf Club's Half Century Cup.
His 39 points was enough to secure the coveted piece of silverware played for annually by the club's Over 50 year-olds.

A COUNTY Armagh Golf Club Medal will take pride of place in Jim Carberry's collection after the Orangefield man triumphed in the August competition.
His nett 64 was the outstanding score recorded on the day – three better than anyone else. Kevin Boyd was his nearest challenger on nett 67, a score shared also by Thomas Murray, Gerard Mone and Sean Brannigan who each picked up category prizes in the competition.

THERE'S to be another Lenagh name engraved in the Gerry Lenagh Trophy – that of Declan Lenagh who lifted the magnificent piece of silverware during Open Week at County Armagh Golf Club.
