The Ladies of Co Armagh Golf Club competed in the Inaugural Friendship Cup competition at Co Armagh Golf Club on Thursday 2 June 2022.
Forty-five ladies competed for the May Medal on Thursday 26 May at County Armagh Golf Club.
Welcoming everyone to prize giving, Lady Captain, Mrs Karen Edgar expressed her sincere thanks to Mr Arnold Courtney for his very generous sponsorship of the competition. The Parker Bowl was presented to the Ladies’ Branch in memory of his late Aunt and Uncle. Mr Courtney had tendered his apologies, being unable to attend prize-giving.
Forty-eight ladies played on Thursday 12 May at Co Armagh Golf Club for either the Fox Cup or Culmore Shield. The Fox Cup is competed for by golfers with a playing handicap in the 0-27 range and those with a playing handicap of 28 or greater play for the Culmore Shield.
Fifty-three ladies played in the Spring Open at County Armagh Golf Club on Monday 9 May, the 13th year the competition had been generously sponsored by Lila’s. Alongside the ladies from Co Armagh there were six visitors competing for the much coveted cup and prizes.
Forty-nine ladies competed in the Sinton Cup qualifier stroke competition on 5 May at Co Armagh Golf Club.
The two best gross and net score golfers qualified for the match-play competition to find the eventual winner of the Sinton Cup.
Fifty-one ladies played in the first Medal competition of the year at County Armagh Golf Club on Thursday 28 April 2022.
Welcoming everyone to prize giving, Lady Captain Mrs Karen Edgar congratulated Lily McMullan, Denise Murphy and Gail Steed on taking the runner-up place in the Ulster Branch’s Senior Woman’s Golf Society’s scramble which took place in Edenmore on 26 April.
