Lady Captain’s Charity Presentation

Lady Captain Irene Lutton presented a cheque for £2536.50 to the Southern Area Hospice on Thursday night last. Flo McCall accepted the cheque on behalf of the Hospice and was amazed by the generosity of the members of the Club. Irene picked the Hospice as her Charity this year in memory of Ivan Marshall. His wife Daphne was also at the presentation.

Most of the money was raised on Lady Captain’s Day with the remainder coming from a 9 Hole Competition in October.

Also on the night Greta Forster representing The Charlemont Arms Hotel presented a separate cheque to Flo which was the proceeds of the Charlemont Salver MatchPlay Competition.
