49 ladies played in the first stroke competition of the season. The winner with a nett 69 was Mary Black followed by Sheila Stinson with a nett 71. In third place was Jacqueline Kelly with a nett 73. The gross prize was won by Ellen Brady with an excellent gross 79.
Sixty-five ladies competed in the Mary Peters Stableford Competition on Thursday 31st March. Colette McSorley was the worthy winner with a wonderful score of 43 points.
Helen Foster was second with 37 points and Katherine Steenson third with 36 points.

This week's competition was the PGA Tankard sponsored by Club Professional Alan Rankin. The winner was Elizabeth Mawhinney with 38 points beating Sylvia Ashe on countback with Brigid McAneaney on 37 points in third place.
The Lady Captain with Paula McCrory winner of the 14-hole Stableford Competition played this week in much improved conditions.
Paula had a very commendable score of 29 points closely followed by Pauline Gingles on 28 with Helen Foster on 27. Maura McCoy won the 9-hole competition with 16 points.

Runners-up were Lily McMullan and Nicola Spence with nett 34 beating Brigid McEneaney and Vera Ellingham on countback.
The final of the annual Putting Competition organised by the Ladies Branch took place on Friday 26th February. Once again this was very generously sponsored by Mrs. Ellen Brady of Ellen's Traditional Fish and Chips.
For the second year in a row the winners were an all-ladies team. Congratulations to The Pink Ladies who defeated Paul McCreesh’s all-male team in the grand finale with Maura McCreesh’s mixed team in third place.

The first social event of 2016 for the ladies of County Armagh Golf Club took place recently when the Lady Captain Mrs. Una Cullinane hosted the annual Supper Party.
To mark the end of a successful golfing year for the Ladies Branch, a prize giving event was held at County Armagh Golf Club. Golfer of the Year was awarded to Flo McCall who played outstanding golf in 2015. Paula McCrory came in a worthy 2nd, beaten by Flo by only one point.
