The Ladies Miele team travelled to Tullamore, Co Offally to take on Rockmount in the regional final of the Miele All Ireland Inter Club Fourball on Monday 5 th September. Five rounds of tight matches had led to this eagerly awaited final, Armagh having defeated Clones, Fintona, Rossmore, Enniskillen and Tandragee to get there. This was a great achievement for the team, having reached the final for the second time in three years. The team led by Team Captain Mrs Elizabeth Mawhinney consisted of team veterans Mrs Ellen Brady, Mrs Valerie Gordon, Miss Paula McCrory, Mrs Lillian McMullan, Mrs June Humphries, Mrs Flo McCall, Mrs Teresa McVeigh and Mrs Gail Steed. Reserves were Mrs Moya Brady and Mrs Pauline Gingles and Mrs Joy Steenson assisting as Team Manager.

The sun shone on County Armagh Golf Club for the coveted Armaghdale Cup on Satuday 6th September.
The open competition attracted 127 ladies including 35 visitors from across the province including Dungannon, Tandragee, Scrabo, Portadown and Mannan Castle. The sponsors Davidson Business Services provided an array of beautiful prizes and it was all to play for. The conditions were perfect for good scoring and the results reflected that.

Fifty two ladies played in the Centenary Trophy which was held on Thursday 27th August. This competition was generously sponsored by The Stirling House Partnership. Paula McCrory who presented the prizes on behalf of The Stirling House Partnership, congratulated the winners and thanked everyone for taking part. Moya Brady was presented with the magnificent trophy. She had a great score of 69 to beat Aoife Lennon on the countback.

Sixty ladies competed in the Club Stroke competition on 6 th August, which was sponsored by Cross Refrigeration, Hamiltonsbawn Road, Armagh . Flo McCall had a score of 70 beating Eilish Grimes on the count back. Katherine Steenson who came in third scored 71.

Helen Foster had a magnificent 41 to win the Ladies competition in the Summer Open. This competition was generously sponsored again this year by Johnston's Bakery, Scotch Street, Armagh. Hilary Johnston presented the prizes and congratulated all the prize winners. She thanked everyone for taking part and said Johnston's were delighted to be associated with this competition. Seventy six ladies took part on the day.
