Fifty-seven ladies took park in the club Stableford competition which this week was sponsored by Sawyer's Transport. Lady Captain Elizabeth Mawhinney welcomed everyone to the prize giving and sincerely thanked the new sponsors who had been introduced to the club by Lily McMullan and James Hewitt who have been generous sponsors to the club .

Winner of first prize was Anne O'Hea who returned an excellent score of 38 points. Runner up was Maggie McKee with 37 points just ahead of Vera Ellingham who took third place with 36 points. A delighted and surprised Anne O'Hea thanked her playing partner Jacqueline and the new sponsors.

Birdies were recorded by Colette McSorley 4 @ 16 th , Paula McCrory 4 @ 10 th , Alexandra Mawhinney 4 @ 16 th and Helen Forster 3 @ 18th.

Lady Captain Elizabeth presented Mrs Ciara McGurgan who manages the Seven Hills restaurant with a wedding gift from the Ladies Branch.

Elizabeth concluded wishing everyone a successful day in the annual Armaghdale competition which is scheduled to be played on Saturday 1 st September.
