Once again the weather infringed on the weekend golf resulting in the course being closed on Sunday and leading to the cancellation of week 3 of the Spring League.However several players managed to take to the course on Saturday and cope with the wintery fog and frosty conditions to compete in the re-arranged stableford competition.On the day it was Keady man Dermot Haughey who adapted well to the elements and returned an excellent 40 points for the sixteen hole competition to take first place with David Spratt in second place with 38 points while Brian Wilson took third on the back nine with his 35 points.
