At the annual general meeting for juvenile boys on Wednesday night the juvenile convenor Paddy Burns announced the juvenile captain for 2010 was Mark Shannon and presented him with his Captain's jumper in the presence of Club Captain Michael Grant.

Also at the juvenile boys annual general meeting Mrs Finnoula Watters the wife of the late Past President Gerry Watters presented a Trophy in his name to be played for by juvenile boys every year and awarded to the golfer of the year.
