Tom & Michael scramble to first place

As a result of the continuing frost the first team competition of the year the Two Ball Scramble was played on sixteen temporary greens but it didn't appear to reflect in the scores returned.In first place on the back nine was the team of two very consistent players Tom Fox and Michael Cullen who just shaded it from the pairing of Martin Carson and John McAleavey who had to settle for second place when they both returned excellent scores of nett 56.25 leaving the reliable pair of the Vice Captain Tom Calvert and Johnny Palmer in third place on the back nine with their nett 57.
