Michael awaits the handicapper after another big score. Once again the weather impacted on the final Stableford Competition of the month resulting in only the very ardent golfers taking to the course on temporary greens as a result of a heavy overnight frost.Whilst the hard ground played havoc with the control of the golf balls several players managed to adapt to the conditions and return reasonable score in the sixteen hole competition.Like many previous weeks it was eighteen handicapper Michael Cullen who showed that he could manage any conditions and returned a superb 42 points to take first place and possibly a handicap cut.In second place was another regular prizewinner in the conditions Leo King who had an excellent 38 points leaving Richard Stewart returning to the prizes in third place on the back nine with his 37 points. Result: 1st Michael Cullen 42 points 2nd Leo King 38 points 3rd Richard Stewart 37 points(back 9)
Congratulations to above- prizes will be added to their accounts in the Professional's Shop |
