Country star Mike singing praises of County Armagh

COUNTRY music sensation Mike Denver was singing the praises of County Armagh Golf Club following a recent visit.

A guest of club member Colm Quinn, Mike played the city course and displayed a talent for much more than music, returning a very credible 42 points. The 13-handicapper was thoroughly impressed by the course and its lay-out insisting he would return to play it again on his next visit to the area.

After his round Mike and his associates enjoyed the hospitality of clubhouse in the company of Club Vice Captain Martin Oliver, Club Honorary Secretary Paddy Burns and Kieran McAnallen from the Armagh City Hotel where Mike was later the perform.

It seems County Armagh Golf Club is building quite a reputation among the rich and famous!
