Captain Richard Black and Lady Captain Margaret Marjoram welcomed more than 60 sponsors to County Armagh Golf Club for the annual Sponsors Corporate Day competition.

The many local business owners and representatives were joined by club officials for the special competition held each year to say thank-you for all their support.
On an immaculately manicured course, bright sunshine throughout Friday afternoon made the experience most enjoyable - even a late shower of rain failed to dampen the spirits of all involved.
The corporate event was this year sponsored by Rollin Insurance Brokers and the Green Room Restaurant served a sumptuous buffett meal to all following the competition, washed down by several glasses of fine wine from the clubhouse bar.
Some very impressive scores were recorded on the day by both men and lady golfers, and all were individually congratulated by Captain Richard Black and Lady Captain Margaret Marjoram.
“Sponsors are very important to the financial survival of every club,” Captain Richard Black told a packed clubhouse. “And we at County Armagh Golf Club are grateful to each and everyone for their support year on year.
“Sponsors Day is an event for us and an opportunity to say a personal thank-you to each of those local businesses who have supported us. I am delighted so many have joined us this year for a successful event,” he added.
