HE'S already lifted the Bankers Cup and now he's added the Connolly Cup to his silverware haul in what is proving a hugely successful season for Glenn Baird at County Armagh.

In the scratch competition for Category 3 players, Glenn's gross 85 score was the best on the day by four strokes.

The 19-handicapper also recorded a birdie at the 11 th hole.


Glenn Baird is presented with the Connolly Cup by Richard Black, Captain of County Armagh Golf Club.

Joseph McElroy was runner up in the competition – his gross 89 score taking the prize.

Ciaran McCreesh produced the Best Nett Score – 68.
