BY an impressive four points Philip Devlin claimed first prize in the CMG Solicitors sponsored club stableford at County Armagh.

24 points from the front nine holes complimented by a further 19 on the back nine earned him the honours. And he also dipped in the Two's Pot with a birdie at the par three 11 th hole.

Kenny Spence was runner up, way back on 39 points, kicking off with a birdie at the first hole and a birdie at the 11 th for a front nine 20 points and back nine 19 points.

Gary McCourt's 37 points earned him first prize in Category 1 winning on countback from A Woods who also returned 37 points.

Francis Curley also had the better back nine when he and Conlon Rice returned 37 points each and had to be separated on countback in Category 2.

And in Category 3 it was a similar story with J Kelly and Gareth Frizell both returning 38 points.

Jarlath McReynolds won the Best Gross prize with 36 points.
