AN HISTORIC CLUB WITH A MAGNIFICENT GEORGIAN PARKLAND SETTING SINCE 1893

The wind and the rain did not deter the 71 ladies who played in the Spring Open on Monday 11 th  May.  Colette McSorley had a great score of 37 points beating Sylvia Ashe and Gail Steed.  Standard scratch was 74.  This annual competition is generously sponsored by Mark Hawthorne from Lila's Shop in Scotch Street Armagh.  A number of ladies travelled from other clubs to play.  The prizes were presented by Amy Hawthorne who represented Mark on the night.  The Lady Captain Margaret Marjoram in her speech gave a special welcome to the visitors and thanked the sponsor  for his continuing support .
