PHILIP Kelly has certainly got the new season off to a winning start at County Armagh.

With some impressive scoring he has already captured the CP McNabb Trophy and won the Easter Stableford. On both occasions he recorded 45 stableford points to win the back-to-back competitions. Mark Shannon was runner up in the Easter Stableford with 44points.

Gary Livingstone was runner up in the CP McNabb Trophy and, as another who has hit the ground running this season, also picked up a Category Prize in the Easter Stableford with 43 and 44 points respectively.

CP McNabb Category winners were –

Category 1: 1. John Lavery 41pts, 2. Niall McGurgan 40pts.

Category 2: 1. Conor McAneney 41pts, 2. Tim Teehan 41pts.

Category 3: 1. Eamon Toner 39pts, 2. M McSorley 39pts.

Easter Stableford category winners were –

Category 1: Shea Smyth 43pts, 2. Thomas Murray 44pts.

Category 2: Gary Livingstone 44pts, 2. Gary Baird 42pts.

Category 3: Brendan Lynch 43pts, 2. Steven Millar 42pts.
