Lady Captain Irene Lutton held her Captain's Day on Saturday last. There was a great turn out from early on for the Coffee Morning and this set the pace for the day. Many of Irene's family and friends were there to join in the celebrations.
Over 100 ladies played for the beautiful prizes which were on display and as the weather was perfect (for a change) there was a great buzz about the clubhouse.

In the evening after a delicious meal served by the Green Room the Lady Captain presented the prizes. Irene thanked everyone for all their help in making the day so successful. Special thanks went to Past captain Hilary and Vice-Captain Margaret. Molly Conway proposed a vote of thanks and this was seconded by Marjorie Compston. Irene was then presented with a bouquet of flowers.
Moya Brady was this year's winner with 41 points, she has been steadily creeping up the scoreboard this season. Denise Murphy came second and Lily McMullan won best gross.
