AN HISTORIC CLUB WITH A MAGNIFICENT GEORGIAN PARKLAND SETTING SINCE 1893

The County Armagh Golf Club Captain - Neil Cromwell recently held a team captains presentation evening for Golf Ireland Inter-club and Cowdy teams in order to address any rule changes and issue packs that would help pinpoint rule changes related to each team format.

Also, a good discussion took place with different ideas to improve our team selection process and availability of players etc. Nathan Grimley our Competition and Handicap Convenor is sending out a generic email regarding Club Match Play with the added option of playing for club teams to try and build larger panels to make it easier for team picks and also strengthen our chances of obtaining some silverware.

County Armagh Golf Club Captain Neil Cromwell stated that representing the club in Golf Ireland and Cowdy Association matches are and will be some of the most rewarding experiences you will have as a golfer, if you get the chance take it and it will give you some great memories, fellow club member bonding moments and conquer some of those fears we all have as a first timer competing in a team.

The energy buzz and adrenaline you get is a fantastic experience and you will be proud of yourself when you do it. So put your name forward at your most suitable level and give it a go.
