AN HISTORIC CLUB WITH A MAGNIFICENT GEORGIAN PARKLAND SETTING SINCE 1893

PHILIP Kelly was the clear winner of first Open Stableford mid-week competition of the year at County Armagh.

His 40 points was three better than all the rest in the competition which is proving very popular among members and visitors alike.

And he was also back atop the prize list in the second week with a winning 39 points.

Visitors Lee Annett and James Gibney picked up second and third prizes respectively on week one. And in week 2 it was Niall Brady (38points) and Alan Pedlow (38points) who were runners up.

In the Seniors Open Stableford competition played on the same day, another visitor Felix Treanor, returned a winning 37 points to take first prize. Kenny Gordon was runner up with Jimmy Wilson in third place, both players returning scores of 37 points. And in week 2 it was Jimmy Wilson (36points) and Marty Oliver (35 points) who were runners up.
